Perinatal Bereavement Services Ontario (PBSO) is a self-help organization committed to supporting parents and their families who have experienced the death of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, medical termination, stillbirth or newborn death. PBSO is a registered charitable organization, offering tax receipts for donations.
PBSO offers the following services:
Self-help groups or one-to-one telephone support for bereaved parents facilitated by trained bereaved parent volunteers;
self-help groups for parents experiencing subsequent pregnancy after a loss;
educational programs for health care professionals on perinatal loss;
memorials and fundraising events held throughout the year;
website where parents can light a candle in memory of their baby.
