Dr. Andrew Burr is a clinical psychologist who provides psychological services to adults (19 years and older).
He works with a wide variety of issues, including * Trauma and PTSD * Anxiety (panic, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder) * Mood problems such as depression, adjustment to loss and change, and coping with transitions and problems of everyday living.
For trauma-related difficulties, approaches include: EMDR and Brain Spotting. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and trauma-related issues. Brain Spotting is a more recent development in the trauma field which emerged out of EMDR.
