Description de l'évenement
Through our work at PCHS, we have found that South Asians are underrepresented in mental health campaigns, not only in our own community, but with mainstream mental health providers as well. We think it is time to have an open and honest conversation about supporting and understanding the distinctive differences in culture to work together to create effective, and impactful mental health services as professionals. A thought that consistently resonated that speared this initiative is “we know cultures are unique and so are the challenges within them. Why are so many solutions the same?”.As a result of this echoing question, we are proud to offer this important forum in support our campaign by attending our “SAY IT LIKE IT IS’ online forum on December 10, 2020.
