Billy Dubery is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Master of Narrative Therapy and Community Work (MNTCW) graduate with extensive experience in trauma-informed therapy, therapeutic engagement, and social justice advocacy. His practice is rooted in Narrative Therapy, emphasizing the power of storytelling to foster resilience, re-author experiences, and empower individuals to reclaim their identities and strengths.

As the Director of Whistling Wind Counseling and Therapy Services, Billy provides clinical supervision and program development to a team of Action Therapy™ practitioners. He is committed to upholding the core principles of Action Therapy™, ensuring that therapeutic work remains relational, community-based, and centered on meaningful engagement rather than conventional clinical settings. His leadership helps guide a team dedicated to mentorship, activism, and cultural healing, creating spaces where individuals can heal through action, connection, and advocacy.

Billy has extensive experience working with trauma, supporting individuals and communities affected by intergenerational trauma, violence, addiction, and systemic oppression. His approach is relational and strength-based, helping people reconnect with their own knowledge, skills, and resilience in the face of hardship.

His therapeutic work focuses on mentorship, community connection, and creating meaningful relationships, ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and supported. He has worked extensively with youth, families, and communities, providing ethical, responsive, and culturally grounded support.
