On Monday, January 18, from 7 to 9 pm, The Oasis in Kanata presents an information session by Dr. Barbara Collins of The Ottawa Hospital’s Acute Care Inpatient Neuropsychology Service who will explore the legal aspects of decision-making capacities in people with mental illnesses, the capacity assessment process, powers of attorney, guardianship, and informed consent. As always, this session is free, and preregistration is not required. All are welcome. See the attached poster for more details.
