She constantly works to upgrade her skills and learn new counselling techniques and she is an EMDR Certified therapist.

She believes that creating a positive and collaborative client-therapist relationship is fundamental to the healing journey and enjoys watching clients learn to recognize their own strengths and find compassion for themselves. She also has a strong interest in helping people heal through mindful interactions with the natural world.

When Kate isn’t working, she likes to spend time getting lost in the forest, taming her backyard jungle, losing at board games to her children, reading, meditating, writing or happily chipping away at one of her many creative hobbies.
