Refuges et hébergement d’urgence
Il y a différents abris que l'on peut utiliser quand on n'a pas de logement.
Les abris d'urgence sont des lieux de vie pour les personnes qui n'ont pas d'endroit o? rester temporairement. Les abris d'urgence (comme les refuges pour femmes) sont principalement destinés à ceux qui fuient une relation de violence, d'abus sexuel ou de violence domestique. Certains refuges limitent leur clientèle selon le sexe ou l'âge.
Les maisons d'hébergement sont des lieux de séjour temporaire, généralement destinés aux sans-abri. Souvent situés dans le centre-ville, elles sont semblables à des abris d'urgence. La principale différence est que les maisons d'hébergement sont généralement ouvertes à tous, sans égard à la raison de leurs besoins. Certains refuges limitent leur clientèle selon le sexe ou l'âge.
